Moving to Canada is exciting — but the first weeks can be overwhelming. Here's what we hear most often:
SIN, PR card, work permit, health card — it's hard to know what to get and in what order.
Canadian employers often require credential assessments that can take months if done incorrectly.
This frustrating loop leaves many skilled newcomers stuck in jobs below their qualifications.
Job Bank, LinkedIn, LMIA positions — the Canadian job market has its own rules and platforms.
Working without proper authorization or on the wrong permit can have serious consequences.
Canadian resumes, ATS systems, and interview formats are different from what many newcomers know.
Our consultants have helped thousands of newcomers navigate Canada's employment system. Here's what you get when you work with us:
We tell you exactly which documents to get, in what order, and how to apply for each one based on your specific immigration status.
We guide you through the right credential assessment bodies (WES, IQAS, ICAS) and help you present your qualifications to Canadian employers.
Learn how to use Job Bank, Indeed Canada, LinkedIn, and industry-specific platforms to find roles that match your background.
We help you rewrite your resume in Canadian format and create cover letters that pass ATS screening and get noticed by hiring managers.
We review your work permit conditions and immigration status to ensure you're fully authorized before you start any job.
Practice with Canadian interview formats, learn what employers expect, and build the confidence to land the job you deserve.
Here's the exact sequence we walk every newcomer through during consultation:
Your SIN is a 9-digit number you need before you can legally work in Canada. Apply at a Service Canada Centre or online — it's free and typically processed within 10 business days. This is your very first step.
Verify the conditions on your work permit or confirm your PR status. Know what type of work you're authorized to do, in which province, and for how long. Working outside your permit conditions is a serious violation.
Employers will ask for proof of identity and work authorization. Prepare your passport, PR card or Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR), and provincial photo ID. If your documents aren't in English or French, get certified translations.
If you work in a regulated profession (medicine, engineering, teaching, etc.) or if your target job requires a degree, you'll need an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA). We help you choose the right organization — WES, IQAS, or ICAS — and submit correctly the first time.
Canadian resumes have a specific format: no photo, no age, no marital status, and results-focused bullet points. We help you reformat your existing experience to match what Canadian employers and ATS systems are looking for.
We show you how to use Canada's Job Bank (the government job board), Indeed Canada, LinkedIn, and industry-specific platforms. You'll also learn how to access the hidden job market through networking — where most jobs are actually filled.
Based on your immigration status, you'll need different documents. Here's an overview — our consultants will build a personalized list for you.
